## How Trading Works

1. A user deposits USDC into a non-custodial collateral account.
2. The user opens a long or short position on a supported market.
3. The position enters pending and usually settles within 1-5 seconds at the next valid Pyth oracle price.
4. Funding transfers between longs and shorts according to market skew, but the live rate cannot exceed the published ±15% APR cap.
5. Liquidations are rule-based and use oracle prices.
6. A user can close positions and withdraw available USDC, subject to collateral availability, chain availability, wallet access, oracle conditions, and protocol constraints.

If the execution price changes during the pending window, the change comes from oracle movement before settlement, not from local order-book depth, AMM slippage, or the user's own order size on Exolane.
